I passed both the Core and certifying exams largely because of you. You should be proud. You taught me more than anyone else in radiology.
I am proud to say I passed the Core exam. I don't know what I would have done without Promethius Lionheart. Words can't describe how great these resources are. I used Crack the Core, the Titan Radiology videos, the Case companion, and War Machine. Promethius's way of using Kinesthetic learning and humor is outstanding. He simply gets it. I already have been educating the new budding future-Titans on what resources to use. Needless to say, ALL of the Titan Radiology resources I consider mandatory.
Although these videos are aimed at the US boards, I found them incredibly helpful for the UK FRCR exam. The style of teaching is engaging and the information is accurate and concise. The great thing about videos as apposed to other learning resources is that you can learn a great deal when passiveley listening but of course you have to consolidate that knowledge with further reading and practice. Thank you for making revision more enjoyable!
While not my only resources, I would not have passed the boards without both titan radiology and crack the core.
Normally i dont care enough to review anything. In fact this is the first review i have ever written in my entire life. I leave that for the betas. But I just gotta say your videos are perfect. The high yield points presented in such a concise manner. Also I 100% agree with all you side points which makes me laugh out loud and keeps me going. So i guess thanks, for whatever its worth.
studied maybe a total of 20 hours outside work the first 2.5 years of radiology residency. Not an exaggeration. Feeling the pressure, I decided to place my trust in Prometheus. Read all of his books, latest edition x2 and all the rad videos x3. Supplemented with a few questions banks and ipad physics app. Rest assured this is all you need. Forget Core Radiology by what's his name and burn your copy of Brant and Helms to keep you warm while you use Prometheus material. It is all you need. Ended up > 500 on the exam.
Will be buying his stuff again for the cert.
The videos are a great way to study and get through the book quickly. The video illustrations/diagrams also helped explain the physics concepts very well.
